For as long as I can remember, I’ve had this “life goal” for lack of a better term, to get my photos published in National Geographic’s magazine. It wasn’t something that I was working towards with any great intent or purpose, it was just one of those more casual “wouldn’t that be nice one day” goals. I feel at this stage that the majority of my work isn’t up to the standard required for National Geographic, so when I received an email from someone purporting to be from the Spanish Travel edition of National Geographic, I met it with a certain amount of scepticism, thinking it was some kind of scammer.

Anyway, turns out that they weren’t a scammer and they licensed one of my images from the Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia! Here are the screen shots from their magazine:
