Hey All,

On Saturday, Colby Brown and myself hosted a Photowalk through the coastal region of Perth called Fremantle, it’s a beautiful part of the city with many historical buildings and monuments. Over 160 people turned up to take part in the photowalk, it made for a great mix of people from the very young to the older members. We started at Kings Square with some giveaways and prizes from our awesome sponsors and then headed off on our walk through Fremantle, over to the Maritime Museum and then finishing up the day with sunset at Bathers Beach.

Many prizes were given away and there are quite a few more to come this week, I’ll be going through the photos from the Facebook page, Google+ Page as well as the Instagram and Twitter posts with the hashtags #Perth2013 and #SeeAustralia. Once I’ve picked a few winners, I’ll be announcing them here as well as on the event pages. So keep your entries coming, the photos must be from the photowalk though.

I had a great time connecting with other photographers, I’m going to be looking into organising another photowalk later in the year, a few locations have been suggested, the hills are a possibility. Sign up to my email list to be kept in the loop about the photowalks!

Here are some of my photos from the photowalk:

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves, the feedback I’ve had so far has been great. Looking forward to doing another one again!
