I’m going through some of my old photos at the moment and processing them again in the methods that I’ve learned in the last 5-6 years. This image was taken in 2006, I really liked the image at the time and even managed to sell quite a few.. but I’ve revisited it just tonight and I much prefer the newer edit.

There is something that I’m discovering, or really, re-discovering, thanks in part to Christian Fletcher, and that is there is beauty to be found in just about anything.. the challenge is to find it. Christian calls this Altered Landscapes. I think it’s really about learning to see again and finding the unusual and unconventional.. creating art from the mundane and often overlooked.

Would love some feedback on this image.. if you have an image that would fit with in the “altered landscapes” style, please post a link to it, I would love to see what others are doing in this area!
