Bio

Hi I’m Paul Pichugin, I am a commercial photographer and a passionate landscape photographer.

My interest in photography began at the age of 6 when I was given a camera by my parents, over the years it has become my passion. In the last couple of years I have had my photography published in Masters of Weddings, Queensland Brides, Sunshine Coast Brides, Photo Review Australia and several other magazines. I’ve also had my photography featured in The West Australian, WA Today, Nine MSN and on several commercial TV channels.

While based in Brisbane, I had the privilege of working along side and learning from some of the industry greats. I started shooting weddings myself in 2006 (a friend of a friend) with only a fairly basic kit. Since then I’ve photographed weddings in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geraldton, Gold Coast, Perth, Phuket (Thailand), Sunshine Coast & Sydney.

In 2009 my wife and I moved from Brisbane to Perth and I’m now in the process of establishing my studio here in Perth. I was nominated for Australian Photographer of the Year 2009 in 4 categories (art, landscape, portrait & wedding),  it was a very busy year, photographing weddings in Brisbane, Stradbroke Island, Adelaide, Geraldton & Perth. I’m now moving into mainly commercial photography. Primary clients include real estate, mining, oil and gas.
