New Norcia Altered Landscape
Christian Fletcher has been talking about this new wave of photography that he calls Altered Landscapes.. very simply put it’s a landscape in an urban or man made setting. I haven’t really been able to see what all the fuss is about to be completely honest, but I’ve been giving it a shot.. actually quite a few shots.. and I think this is the first one that I’ve really been happy with.
It’s very different for me, but it is something I would like to explore a bit further, I’ve always played around with urban and grungy type photography and occasionally I get a decent photo. I would love to get some feed back on this image, be as harsh as you want!
Regards

Love it. Though, as I said via twitter, the pillar on the right throws the symmetry off. A slightly tighter crop (three squares up top each side of the door should nail it) will fix this issue. The colours are beautiful.
Have you applied a texture to this is?
Thanks Peter, I’m thinking of working on it a bit more to fix up the symmetry. I’ve used 2 textures on it :)
I love it, the blue in the windows is just striking. Great shot!
Thanks Sue-ann :-)
I quite like it. Only problem is, I don’t know why.. LOL
haha, thanks Gav :)
