Perth’s Lunar Eclipse
Hey All,
We were very lucky to be able to witness a full lunar eclipse in the early hours of the morning today.. or we would have been, had there not been a huge amount of cloud and rain in the way! I had a look at the weather radar and it looked like I might get a break in the clouds if I headed up towards Cervantes.. so I filled the car up, loaded up my gear and went for a drive.. hoping for the best.
I got lucky, I found a decent vantage point on the beach at Wedge Island and got a few really good breaks in the clouds, I was able to get quite a few decent photos. Here are my favorite ones. Sorry about the grain & noise.. I had to shoot at ISO3200 and ISO4000 in order to get a decent exposure, I’ve also cropped the image quite significantly.
All comments appreciated!
Regards
Paul Pichugin
